2019 was a productive year for me and I didn’t really intend for it to be. Oh, I wanted to write books, but I’ve ended up with 6 written (7 finished if I get my hiney in gear and finish my zombie novel.)

I started out with the Raster City Series, a story about a woman named Sloane with a haunted past and an uncertain future. She meets three men who save her life and teach her how to love again. It was a fun book to write. I especially enjoyed Spark, Sloane’s best friend, who liked to shit glitter when things weren’t going her way. (She was a small piece of the city goddess Raster. Think of her as a maniacal Tinkerbell and you’re close.)
There are three Raster books and they’re on Amazon, all in KU, and there’s even an omnibus with all three books in one to save space in your Kindle borrows.

Next up I wrote a story about a woman who enjoys murdering people. Why? Because I’ve always wanted to write a book where the hero wasn’t so heroic and yet you can’t help enjoy them anyway. Her name is Korri Marchand, and she kills people who are worse than murderers (if you can believe that!). I loved her so much, I wrote another (just finished this week!). I’ll be doing another book with her in 2020, which is one reason I’m really looking forward to the new year.
Another reason I’m excited about it is a few groups of authors I’m working with to bring out anthologies of amazing romances. The first will be a Valentine’s Day release full of bully romances. I know what you’re thinking, “BULLY? WTF Jen?” I think you’ll enjoy mine, more enemies to lovers than actually bullying and the heroine learns to hold her own. I like those characters and they may show up again!

Another release will be coming out in spring, chock full of shifter romance? Will I be writing shifter romances to go with the story, you ask? Heck yeah. That’s the plan, anyway.
A third one will be all about the dark, twisted world of confinement, imprisonment, and what goes on behind bars. I’m super excited about this one, because I’m planning stories about Poppy. If you’ve read Korri’s books, then you know Poppy is her best friend. And Poppy ends up in witch jail. Not a good place to be for a witch, not going to lie, and it’s going to be hard, but you know what? Korri has her back, as do a few good looking witches already behind bars.
Look for that antho to come out in 2020, and those books to come out later this year too!
Finally, I’m super stoked to be finishing up my zombie novel Impassable. It’s a standalone I’ve been working on for a while. It’s been a labor of love, exploring grief, exploring loss and hope and survival. I’ve structured it in what I think is an interesting way and have poured a lot of time and soul into it. I hope you like it. It’s due out Oct 5, my birthday!

I think that’s it, folks. I look forward to entertaining you this coming year. Check back for more updates and if you get impatient, you can always email me or bug me on Facebook.
Ciao!
